Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C. is proud announce that attorney Nelson Boyle was recently presented with the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) Outstanding Service Award. Presented at the CTLA annual Spring Dinner, this award is given to lawyers going “above and beyond expectations to help CTLA.” CTLA has honored just four previous recipients. Mr. Boyle shared the honor with Thomas Neville, with whom he co-chairs CTLA’s Amicus Curiae Committee. He serves on CTLA’s Board of Directors, publishes in CTLA’s Trial Talk, and helps CTLA’s legislative efforts at the Colorado General Assembly. Mr. Boyle was also the recipient of CTLA’s 2012 New Trial of the Year Award.
Mr. Boyle, a native of Arvada, Colorado, practices civil litigation, focusing on appeals, business, insurance, and personal injury litigation. Mr. Boyle earned a B.A. in History from Temple University (1997), an M.A. in U.S. History from New Mexico State University (2000) and his J.D. at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law (2007). He is licensed to practice at all Colorado courts, the U.S. District Court for Colorado, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
