FLC Consulting Expands Services, Adds Food & Beverage Consulting Solutions
New Freedom, PA (PRWEB) June 03, 2016 -- FLC Business Consulting, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Food & Beverage Consultant, Nato Giordano to the FLC team. Early in his career, Giordano held positions with multiple country clubs and landmark restaurants in New York & Washington, DC. His transition to F&B consulting for hotels began with The JBG Companies, Inc., where Giordano was responsible for all food and beverage operations of JBG’s hotels in the DC metro area. Within 3 years, Giordano joined Crescent Hotels and Resorts, a leading independent third party operator of hotels and resorts. As the VP of Food & Beverage his responsibilities included oversight of concept development, monumental renovations, and development of corporate F&B initiatives, resources and vendor relations. He has a proven track record of increasing F&B profitability. Keeping the individual customer and guest at the forefront of the business, Giordano strategically weaves innovative ideas and unique concepts through branding, training, marketing and business development.
“Hotel restaurants hold a competitive advantage over standalone restaurants. With existing parking, space and service infrastructure, as well as in-house marketing, sales, and systems, hotel outlets are already one step ahead of local restaurants,” said Giordano.
Hotel operators should be looking at F&B as a significant revenue-driver for their hotel portfolio; one that can provide consistent cash flow. By providing a unique F&B offering, and increasing visibility of food and beverage programs, hotels can increase guest capture and build external perception outside of the property.
“Most hotels change a few menu items, tweak the décor and expect to see revenues increase," said Lovell Casiero, President of FLC Business Consulting. "But it takes more than that. Understanding where your hotel restaurant fits in the local landscape while still serving the hotel guest is the secret to success. It takes a balanced offering and strategic marketing. This is where we focus our expertise.”
