New Hires Bring Deep Cloud and Enterprise Experience

Dyn, the worldwide leader in Internet Performance Management (IPM), announced today the addition of several new hires to help the company further develop the IPM market. The hires reflect the company’s continued growth, maturation and evolution toward the Enterprise-customer.

The following senior executives were hired thus far in 2016:

Andrew Wharton joined as VP of Engineering. Andrew is an experienced technical leader, who owns two patents focused on dynamic caching. Before joining Dyn, Andrew was VP of Engineering at Acquia. He previously held executive-level roles at Qvidian and Nokia.

Phil Francisco became VP of Product Marketing. Phil previously held VP roles in IBM Analytics Group in Data Management Products and Strategy and similar senior leadership positions at Netezza and Lucent Technologies.

Gary Sloper became Dyn’s new VP of Global Sales Engineering. Previously, Gary served as the Area VP for the Eastern Regional Sales Engineering team at CenturyLink supporting Cloud & Hybrid IT. He also ran business operations for the company’s Hybrid Cloud business.

Arthur Steinert joined as VP of Business Development. Arthur was most recently VP & GM, Solution Provider Partners Sales and Marketing at Constant Contact. Before that Arthur spent seven years in various strategic, product marketing and channel marketing leadership roles at EMC.
