PropertyRoom.com Receives National Joint Powers Alliance Contract for Surplus Auction Services with Related Solutions
Frederick, MD (PRWEB) June 22, 2016 -- Leading online auction site, PropertyRoom.com, which conducts “$1 No Reserve” public auctions for law enforcement, government and municipal agencies nationwide, is proud to announce that they have been re-awarded a new National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) national contract for procurement of “Surplus Auction Services with Related Solutions.” The effective date of the contract, Contract number 041316-PRC, Surplus Auction Services with Related Solutions, will be June 22, 2016 and will expire on June 22, 2020.
Previously, PropertyRoom.com had been awarded an NJPA national contract for procurement of “Fleet and Equipment Auction Services” which offered online auction services to law enforcement, government and municipal agencies to auction off their seized and surplus fleet, vehicle and equipment assets.
The newly awarded contract not only extends the ability for PropertyRoom.com to offer its online auction services to law enforcement agencies, government agencies (including cities, counties and states), public works departments and school districts nationwide, but also expands the services to Property & Evidence Disposition, Firearms Auction Services and continuing Fleet & Equipment Auction Services to those clients taking advantage of the NJPA contract.
“We are thrilled to be awarded a new four year contract from National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), the nation’s leading municipal contracting agency,” said Donald E. Nemer, SVP of Sales for PropertyRoom.com. “The NJPA contract is a great way to help law enforcement, government and municipal agencies access our range of auction services to allow them to focus on their core jobs. We are especially excited that this newly awarded contract includes our unique Firearms Auction Services, which enables many law enforcement agencies the ability to receive sales proceeds directly back to their agencies, which can pay for new law enforcement gear such as body armor, body/car cameras and service firearms. This national cooperative contract enables agencies to avoid the time consuming, tedious and costly Request for Proposal (RFP) process and easily sign on to our services.”
On behalf of law enforcement and government agencies, municipalities and commercial clients, PropertyRoom.com markets and auctions both unclaimed and surplus assets. Goods for sale cover a wide range, varying from tablets, TVs and smartphones to collectible coins, luxury purses, watches and jewelry. The site also regularly auctions cars, trucks and heavy equipment, open to public bidding nationwide. Firearms are sold to the public under the FFL to FFL delivery process via online auction utilizing a partner site, eGunner.com.
