Since DoubleDutch’s inception in 2011, it has consistently contributed to the LGBTQ community. It provided its event app solution pro bono to the Trevor Project, a national 24-hour, toll free confidential suicide hotline for gay and questioning youth, and worked closely with United States Tennis Association (USTA) to create an LGBTQ community app and walk with the group in the SF Pride Parade. Most recently, DoubleDutch took a stand to support its customers who elected to move their events out of North Carolina after the passing of PFPSA and also sponsored the Lesbians Who Tech event by powering an app for the organization and sending engineers to participate in and judge a hackathon. Additionally, DoubleDutch created PrideSquare to foster a community for its own LGBTQ employees to come together with their allies and discuss important topics to fight for equality in the workplace and beyond.
