U.S. Air Force Selects ASRC Federal Communications for Vance Base Operating Services Contract
Beltsville, MD (PRWEB) June 23, 2016 -- ASRC Federal Communications has been awarded the Vance Base Operating Services contract supporting the 71st Flying Training Wing (FTW) based out of Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma. As part of the contract, the company will provide mission-critical operations and maintenance services including installation engineering, transportation, inventory and supply management, communications, as well as operations support for the on-site and auxiliary field (Kegelman) fire department. The five-year contract includes a base year plus four one-year options, with an approximate total value over $190 million, which includes all cost reimbursable CLINs.

The 71st Flying Training Wing, which is a part of Air Education and Training Command (AETC), aims to train world-class pilots for the United States Air Force and its Allies, and to prepare Air Expeditionary Force warriors to deploy in support of the combatant commanders.
