Colorado Springs Health Partners Adds Clockwise.MD Online Check-in at All Three Urgent Care Locations
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. (PRWEB) July 13, 2016 -- Colorado Springs Health Partners (CSHP), a leading multispecialty medical group in the Pikes Peak region, today announced it now offers online check-in at all three of their Urgent Care locations, allowing patients to skip the wait in the waiting room. After a successful pilot at their Monument facility, CSHP extended the Clockwise.MD system to their remaining two urgent care centers this past April.
Currently, Colorado Springs Health Partners is live with Clockwise.MD at all three of their urgent care facilities: Monument, Roundhouse, and Medical Center Point. The system works similar to call-ahead seating at a restaurant. Patients can choose an “approximate visit time” and hold their place in line. They can also see current wait times at each CSHP Urgent Care location at http://www.cshp.net/urgentcare. As all CSHP Urgent Care clinics allow walk-in as well as online check-in, approximate wait times vary but are usually within 10-15 minutes of the approximate visit times offered.
“We are excited to partner with such a consumer-oriented healthcare provider in the Colorado Springs community,” stated Michael Burke, CEO and Founder of Clockwise.MD. “CSHP has always been devoted to providing quality medical care and a positive patient experience, and we are thrilled to partner with them in this endeavor.”
The Clockwise.MD solution improves the overall patient experience by allowing patients to reserve a spot in line, receive real-time status updates about wait times, and view their position in the queue.
“Since we implemented the Clockwise system in our clinics, we’ve seen a positive impact not only to our patient satisfaction, but also to our employee and provider teamwork,” said Mary Sanchez, CSHP Urgent Care Operations Manager.
Clockwise.MD is just one use of technology that Colorado Springs Health Partners is applying to create a better patient experience. Follow My Health, their patient portal, allows patients to view test results, request appointments and message their provider office. NOMIS, a text reminder system, provides patients the option of checking and sending their blood pressure results to their provider via text where results are reviewed by the provider team and any required action is communicated back to the patient. Embracing new ways of effective communication is helping CSHP and its patients communicate more effectively and in “real time”.
