The program allows for BWR members who are new to the program or have a basic “Blue” membership to accelerate to Gold status. BWR members can Get to the Gold! by booking five nights or more, earning 5,000 points or booking three separate stays during the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Taking place during the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, the Get to the Gold! promotion will run from August 5, 2016 through the conclusion of the Paralympics on September 18, 2016. Reaching Gold status under the BWR program allows guests to receive a 10%-point bonus per stay, putting them closer to reaching Platinum, Diamond and Diamond-select status. Once Platinum status has been achieved, guests will receive a gift and complimentary room upgrades during each additional stay.
