Pleasanton, Calif (PRWEB) July 28, 2016 -- Christensen Joins Stratford School as Elementary School Principal of Pleasanton Campus
Stratford School is pleased to announce the appointment of Maureen Christensen as the Elementary School Principal of Stratford’s Pleasanton campus. Ms. Christensen has over 13 years of experience in the field of education and has served as a principal for the last three years at a private school in the East Bay.
“Maureen is a visionary school leader who is passionate about education and has a genuine ability to inspire children to reach their full potential,” said Barbara Timm-Brock, Chief Operating Officer. “Her background in human resources is a tremendous asset as a school leader. We are so pleased she is a part of the Stratford School Pleasanton team.”
Christensen says she enjoys fostering and working in a collaborative environment that nurtures the growth and curiosity of each individual. “When students are curious,” Christensen says, “they are much more likely to stay engaged and retain more information. When schools, parents, families, and communities work together to support learning, students benefit and will be more successful.”
Under her leadership, students and parents can look forward to open lines of communication and partnering with parents to fully support and help guide their child’s development.
