SureFire CPR Announces the SureFire CPR Scholarship
Orange, CA (PRWEB) August 16, 2016 -- SureFire CPR, an industry-leading provider of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid instruction in Orange County, California, has unveiled its SureFire CPR scholarship as part of its commitment to help students who are dedicated to pursuing careers in a medical field of their choice.
The Sure Fire CPR scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student who reflects high academic achievement, excellent leadership qualities and involvement with community service. SureFire CPR will award a $1,000 prize to help the scholarship recipient subsidize the costs of obtaining education in the medical field of their choice.
Any student who currently attends or intends to enroll in classes at a school that offers training in a medical specialty (ex. nursing, physical therapy, etc.) is eligible to apply for the "Students in a Medical Field" scholarship. The scholarship is offered to incoming, full-time and part-time students, and previously awarded scholarships or monetary prizes have no impact on this scholarship award.
To apply for the scholarship, a student must provide a copy of their acceptance letter OR a copy of a transcript that verifies their enrollment in a school that offers classes in a medical field.
Also, each applicant must provide a 300- to 500-word response to each of the following questions:
1. What was the defining moment when you knew that you wanted to pursue a career in the medical field?
2. How do you plan to contribute to the medical community/humanity?
The deadline to submit a scholarship application is Dec. 5, 2016; no applications will be accepted after this date.
In addition, the scholarship winner will be announced on Jan. 18, 2017 and will be notified via email at the time of the announcement.
