Laughology Invites Workers to Nominate Their Colleagues and Workplace to Win Gold in the UK’s First Happiness Awards
London (PRWEB UK) 25 August 2016 -- Britain’s most upbeat and positive employees, teachers, managers, business and schools will be rewarded in the ground-breaking scheme which aims to recognise the contribution happiness and happy people make to society.
The first nationwide search for Britain’s national happiness heroes is the brainchild of Laughology, a progressive consultancy and learning and development organisation.
The awards are supported by Sir Anthony Seldon, one of the country’s leading experts on happiness and a senior advisor on the government’s happiness agenda.
Laughology is inviting nominations in four categories; happiest business or organisation, happiest leader, manager or employee, happiest school and happiest teacher, head teacher or support staff. Nominations can be made through the Laughology website, at http://www.laughology.co.uk/happiness-awards.
The awards will recognise forward-thinking people and organisations who use happiness and positivity initiatives to improve well-being, health and productivity in the workplace.
Stephanie Davies, Laughology CEO, said: “Happiness in business and education isn’t a flaky concept. Increasingly business and education leaders recognise that happier people are healthier, more productive and perform better. Laughology has been at the forefront of this agenda for the past ten years and on our tenth anniversary we felt it was time to recognise the huge impact happy-focused people and organisations are having across society, from the business world to education and the public sector.”
The happiest business awards have been made possible by our Diamond sponsor Herman Miller and The happiest school awards by our Diamond sponsor Crown House Publishing. The awards will be judged by Ian Gilbert from Independent Thinking and Gill White of CIPD. Winners will be invited to attend an award-giving ceremony and gala evening in London on 18th November 2016.
The deadline for nominations is 8th October 2016.
