Watershed will lead to creation of some of the next innovative solutions in biomedical technology.
San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) September 08, 2016
Fountainhead Investment Partners, a San Antonio-based venture capital firm, has created Watershed Idea Foundry to focus on biomedical growth and innovation. Watershed will bring together industry experts from around the world to guide entrepreneurial ideas.
“So often amazing ideas are left on napkins because entrepreneurs don’t have access to the proper technology, expertise or funding to create products from their concepts,” said Brian Kieser, Fountainhead Managing Partner. “The vision for Watershed is to bring all those elements together for the entrepreneur so the creation of intellectual property and products can be accelerated, and world-changing ideas thrive.”
Watershed will work with entrepreneurs exploring their ideas as well as companies that require research and development assistance to move their intellectual property forward. Watershed will offer services ranging from proof of concept and product development, to manufacturing demonstration and regulatory consulting, to funding readiness.
“Our vision at Fountainhead is to connect advancing technologies in order to solve complex problems in medicine. As part of our portfolio, Watershed will lead to creation of some of the next innovative solutions in biomedical technology. We are excited about the opportunities this will bring for our current and future portfolio companies, our partners and our communities,” said Kieser.
