Affinegy Selected by Twin Lakes to Support Home WiFi Offering for Broadband Subscribers
Austin, TX (PRWEB) September 13, 2016 -- Affinegy, the connected device and service management solution company that makes the Internet of Things (IoT) just work, today announced it was selected by Twin Lakes to support home WiFi offerings for its broadband and FTTH subscribers. Twin Lakes is one of Tennessee’s largest broadband and phone providers that has expanded its offerings to IPTV and Security services. Twin Lakes has been operating since 1951 as a cooperative, owned by the over 30,000 member subscribers it serves.
Affinegy’s CHARIOT platform will help Twin Lakes deliver simple, secure and robust WiFi services to its subscribers. Specifically, Affinegy's CHARIOT platform provides the installation, automated provisioning, remote care and device management Twin Lakes needs to deliver a simple and pleasing service experience to its subscribers.
Twin Lakes selected Affinegy’s proven TR-069 ACS to manage its multi-vendor WiFi router and WiFi gateways from a single platform, and attracted to the dashboard analytics and reporting, batch mode operations and individual device queries and controls offered by CHARIOT. Further, Affinegy’s hosted Care Portal provides an efficient and effective way for Twin Lakes to continue working with its partners, like API Digital, to ensure quality onboarding and ongoing customer service experience.
“We’ve been impressed with Affinegy’s technological innovation, the flexibility of CHARIOT, and responsiveness of the Affinegy professional services team,” said Shane Heupel, Twin Lakes director of technology. “The Affinegy solutions will help us exceed customer expectations on WiFi and broadband and puts us in position to deliver to our customers a great experience with their broadband connection needs today and in the future.”
“Our focus is on supporting independent service providers, and Twin Lakes is one of the top 100 broadband providers in the US. We are excited to have Twin Lakes as a customer and look forward to the opportunities to grow with them, and add to the services we deliver to their subscribers,” said Affinegy CEO and co-founder Melissa Simpler. “Today that is home WiFi, but tomorrow with the faster access afforded by Fiber, this may grow to include advanced entertainment, home security/automation, and even tele health services.”
