Accounting and Business Consulting Firms DMJ & Co., PLLC and Hutchings & Hutchings CPAs, PA Announce Acquisition
GREENSBORO, NC (PRWEB) September 29, 2016 -- DMJ & Co., PLLC, an independent accounting and business consulting firm with headquarters in Greensboro, NC announced today that the Durham, NC firm of Hutchings & Hutchings Certified Public Accountants, PA will become DMJ & Co., PLLC. Hutchings & Hutchings will assume the DMJ name, effective November 1.
Hutchings & Hutchings, a third-generation firm, was established in the 1930s by Philip W. Hutchings, Sr. Philip Hutchings, III assumed leadership as owner in 1984 growing the practice to focus on tax compliance and tax planning, and developing strong relationships among industry leaders and individuals including physicians and healthcare professionals, professional services, hospitality and real estate, among others. The firm’s founder and partner, Philip Hutchings, III will continue with DMJ as principal. All staff positions will be retained.

The Hutchings acquisition will now extend DMJ’s presence statewide with office locations in the Triad, the Triangle, and the Sandhill’s regions. Together, the firms will continue to provide the traditional services with deeper practice areas in international tax consulting, litigation support, succession planning, audit and reviews, among others.
