Merchant Centric Named a Finalist in Street Fight’s Local Visionary Awards
Westlake Village, California (PRWEB) October 06, 2016 -- Merchant Centric, which helps multi-location brands increase revenue through the power of Data Analytics, announced today that it had been named a finalist for Best New Solution for Multi-Location Retailers in the 2nd annual Local Visionary Awards.
The Local Visionary Awards, hosted by Street Fight, celebrate brilliant and intrepid individuals and organizations who are moving the local marketing technology industry forward with creativity, ingenuity and success. On a daily basis, Street Fight covers innovative ideas and companies in local, and the Local Visionary Awards aim to see who rises to the top.
The Best New Solution for Multi-Location Retailers category puts a spotlight on companies and initiatives that have aimed at blue-sky ideas that are making a difference. Marketers with multiple locations have a range of variables in each place, from the dynamics of the surrounding location to the products it carries and the local demographics. Some multi-location marketers push control to their locations; others manage from HQ. The winner in this category will have developed since October 2015 a solution that is delivering local marketing success for multi-location retailers.
“We are thrilled to be a finalist in this important program,” said David Bay, Merchant Centric’s CEO. “Merchant Centric understands that brick & mortar brands need to use data to identify what strategies and actions will increase revenue.”
Adam Leff, Merchant Centric’s co-founder continued, “Current big data platforms are focused on the wrong questions and are confusing management. With our proprietary technology and team, we are able to determine the most important actions that increase revenue and provide an enterprise-class platform to implement and monitor those actions. This award recognizes our success in this area.”
The 2nd annual Local Visionary Awards received 176 entries across 13 categories, and winners will be named at Street Fight’s 6th annual Street Fight Summit on Oct. 25th in New York City, where 400+ leaders in local marketing tech will gather to learn and network as they push the industry forward. The awards were judged by influential voices in the industry, including Matt Booth, CEO of Connectivity; Charity Huff, principal at Maroon Ventures; Brett Leary, head of mobile at DigitasLBI; John Jantsch, founder of Duct Tape Marketing; and David Card, director of research at Street Fight.
“We are very pleased with the finalists that emerged this year. They are truly demonstrating innovation that gets positive results. One goal of the Local Visionary Awards is to highlight companies and initiatives that may become models for the industry,” said Laura Rich, CEO of Street Fight.
