InkRouter Executive to Present at CIP4 Workflow Symposium
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 23, 2016 -- InkRouter, a subsidiary of Opensoft Inc., creates solutions to workflow challenges in the printing industry. On Nov. 17, Opensoft Inc. CEO Brett Heap will be presenting the software’s JDF application at the CIP4 Workflow Symposium on JDF, Industry 4.0 and Workflow Automation, a global organization and symposium for printers and vendors taking place in Stuttgart, Germany.
Scheduled to discuss the future role of technology in print in “Job Routing and Product Designing/Visualizing,” Heap will also present several product offerings from Opensoft that utilize JDF to ease cross-vendor workflow applications in pre-press.
“At Opensoft, we’re all about creating software solutions to the issues of the print industry. How can we make printing more efficient and profitable?” said Heap. “Getting to share the InkRouter story with students is very exciting to me. They are the next generation of our work, and will be benefiting from and creating the next big software solution.”
InkRouter is a print procurement solution that facilitates print orders between print resellers and print providers. The software for web-to-print storefronts uses a bi-directional API technology based on JDF/CIP4 compatible XML definitions to automate the process.
Through the software, print brokers and web-to-print storefronts set specific criteria for job requests. InkRouter intelligently selects a print provider that matches the given price limits and turnaround times. As members of the InkRouter network, print providers can expand sales forces beyond a local network to bid on jobs globally.
To be held at Hochschule der Medien, Nobelstr. 10, 70569 Stuttgart, Hall 011-013, the 8th CIP4 Workflow Symposium will host presentations and live product demonstrations for printers, publishers, media experts and vendors. The “Job Routing and Product Designing/Visualizing” presentation is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
