Connections Education Receives Four 2016 EDDIE Awards
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) November 01, 2016 -- Connections Education, a leading provider of high-quality, highly accountable digital learning solutions for students in grades K-12, has been recognized by ComputEd Gazette's 21st Annual Education Software Review with four EDDIE Awards. This marks the seventh consecutive year that Connections Education has been honored with EDDIE Awards.
The 2016 Connections Education EDDIE Award winners are:
- Learning Coach Central: Provides parents and guardians who serve as Learning Coaches with access to visually appealing, user-friendly resources designed to help them navigate the education management system, Connexus®, and support them in working with and motivating their students.
- American Government: In this online high school course, customized to meet American Government standards in each state, students explore the foundations of American government and its fundamental principles and organization in a relevant context.
- Social Studies 8: This middle school online course offers a broad survey of United States history, from the early Americas and European settlement to the analysis of social changes in America in the 2000s. The course includes civics and economics units that cover concepts such as scarcity, supply and demand, government involvement, and personal financial literacy.
- WebQuest: To promote 21st century critical and creative thinking, this interactive elective provides students the opportunity to participate in an individualized WebQuest experience based on the student's research about and participation in an effort that is focused on maintaining or improving the local community’s environment.
