SAE International 2017 Light Duty Emissions Control Symposium Announces Opening of Registration
Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) November 03, 2016 -- SAE International announces the opening of registration for the SAE 2017 Light Duty Emissions Control Symposium, which will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., USA on January 23-24, 2017.
This event will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience presentations and share in discussions regarding emissions control of both diesel and gasoline light duty vehicles.
Topics for this year's event will include industry reaction to CARB and EC emission regulations as well as CAFE standards and the latest EPA Tier 3 emissions and fuel regulations, mandated from 2017. These Tier 3 regulations address multiple techniques to emissions reduction; from vehicle design standards to fuel content requirements and offer a common method of testing and analysis to ensure consistent and qualified results. The symposium will focus on how mandated vehicle emissions are being reduced via vehicle design, powertrain design, after treatment, and fuel content and development.
Attendees can engage directly with regulators to understand the opportunities and challenges with the Environmental Protection Agency Standard. The symposium also provides an opportunity to develop professional relationships with companies facing the similar challenges and to compare strategies and successes for dealing with regulations.
Additionally, as part of registration for the Light Duty Emissions Control Symposium, attendees receive complimentary access to the Washington Auto Show and the exclusive Thursday night preview.
