US Dry Bean Council to Launch Knowledge-Sharing Platform Connecting Experts with Consumers and Industry Participants
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) November 02, 2016 -- The US Dry Bean Council (USDBC) and Brainsy, Inc., are collaborating to launch the Dry Bean Expert Calling Network (ECN®), a knowledge-sharing platform connecting dry bean experts with consumers and industry participants online and via paid telephone consultations.
Council members and other invited experts will set up personalized profiles on the Dry Bean ECN system, which allows information-seekers to find and contact them, exchange knowledge online, or conduct over-the-phone consultations at a rate set by the expert.
“As U.S.-grown dry beans are increasingly recognized at home and abroad for their quality, versatility, and health and nutrition benefits, the USDBC is being called upon to act as a resource for consumers and a diverse range of industry stakeholders,” said Rebecca Bratter, executive director of the US Dry Bean Council. “The Dry Bean ECN will leverage Brainsy’s cutting edge technology to help us serve as a knowledge-sharing clearinghouse for everyone from consumers to U.S. exporters, overseas importers, public health organizations, research centers, universities, and the entire supply chain, from seed suppliers to growers, traders/dealers, processors, wholesalers, distributors and shippers. Ultimately this will be an important tool in our quest to continually increase dry bean consumption in the U.S. and around the world”
The Dry Bean ECN will be unveiled online at https://drybean.expertcallingnetwork.com on January 24, 2017, during the US Dry Bean Council annual Winter Board Meeting in Washington DC.
At the core of the Dry Bean ECN platform are personalized profiles, promotional tools, content sharing and distribution tools, all paired with Brainsy’s patented ECN transactional calling platform.
“We are pleased to be working with the U.S. Dry Bean Council - an important actor supporting a key agricultural commodity of the U.S.,” stated Brian Christie, CEO of Brainsy, the ECN Platform provider. “We hope the Dry Bean ECN will make knowledge and expertise in the Dry Bean field more easily accessible and just a click or call away.”
Experts will self-designate their areas of specialty when participating in the ECN and will set their own rates to respond to Call Requests. Paid discussions may range from as little as 15 minutes to one hour in duration. Experts will also have access to features of the Personal Media ECN® including the ECN® InCall Badge which enables experts to monetize other social media platforms.
In conjunction with the launch, Brainsy is accepting applications from advertising sponsors that would like their brand highlighted on the ECN. Interested parties should contact Bill Sheehan at 855-742-7246 x706.
