Walmart Partners with SellerActive to Grow Third Party Sales

Walmart Marketplace was launched in 2009 and is open to a handful of select third-party sellers. Customers purchasing on the Walmart platform will see products from third-party retailers displayed alongside Walmart’s own inventory and are labeled as Walmart Marketplace items. For third-party items being sold on the Walmart Marketplace, the seller name is displayed as to not confuse customers of who is selling the item. In addition, sellers on Walmart’s global marketplace gain access to special promotion opportunities, like Value of the Day offers and much more.
SellerActive has already launched several current customers on the Walmart Marketplace spanning a wide range of product categories. New Walmart sellers looking to be added to the marketplace will have to apply on the Walmart Marketplace Seller website and be accepted before they are able to use the new integration.
