Overall Quality, Cost Analyzed to Identify Top Online Associate, Bachelor’s Degree Programs for 2016-2017

An analysis of collegiate undergraduate programs by has determined the best places to earn an Associates and Bachelor’s Degree Online in the nation for 2016-2017. As a leader in online higher education resources, the site measured cost and quality data to determine the top college online undergraduate degree programs. Highest marks were awarded to Goodwin College, Great Basin College, Keiser University Fort Lauderdale, East Mississippi Community College, Western Wyoming Community College and Holmes Community College in the associate degree category; Dickinson State University, Siena Heights University, Fort Hays State University, Davenport University, Judson College and Northern Arizona University in the bachelor’s degree category.

"Undergraduate enrollment numbers in the U.S. rose 21 percent between 2003 and 2013. As more students attend college, the need for flexible learning options also grows,” said Dan Schuessler, CEO and Founder of "Colleges offering online undergraduate programs are showing their ability to adapt to those needs, and we’ve identified the places students looking for online associate and bachelor’s degree programs can go for an affordable, quality education.”

Schools must meet specific criteria to qualify for the Best Online Associate Degree Programs & Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs lists. All institutions must be accredited, public or private not-for-profit entities and must offer in-state tuition maximums of $5,000 per year at two-year schools and $25,000 per year at four-year schools. Eligible institutions are further evaluated by a variety of cost and quality measures to determine their position on the lists, including financial aid offerings, graduation rates and online program variety.
