Houston, TX (PRWEB) November 22, 2016
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced its first annual awards recognizing member companies for their leadership in diversity and inclusion. Companies received awards based on two different categories: organizational diversity & inclusion and marketing outreach strategies. Envoy Mortgage was proud to receive an honorable mention for organizational diversity & inclusion for efforts in improving, promoting and creating a complex strategy to increase diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
“We are excited to be recognized by the MBA for our Diversity Initiative. Envoy believes that it is fundamentally important that our company reflects the diversity in the markets where we live and serve. It is our mission to understand the cultural differences and influences in each of our markets so that we can better serve our customers,” Keith Frachiseur, Executive Vice President of Envoy, stated when asked about the recognition. Envoy Mortgage prides itself on creating and implementing a diverse work place. The award exemplifies the various company initiatives that are specifically designed and developed to increase diversity and inclusion throughout the organization. Envoy’s commitment to reflect the full diversity of backgrounds, experiences, approaches and ideas continues to be integrated into all of their processes.
According to the MBA Chairman Rodrigo Lopez CMB, Executive Chairman of NorthMarq Capital and the previous Chairman of MBA’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, “These awards recognize the importance of embracing a diverse and inclusive real estate finance industry.”
The various companies that applied were judged on demonstration of a tangible benefit to participants and the overall enterprise, replicability of the program, innovative program approaches, and program success in broadening the culture of the organization through the values of diversity and inclusion.
