Globalization Partners Recognized in Multiple Categories in 2016 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business
Boston (PRWEB) November 22, 2016 -- Globalization Partners, a global PEO and employer of record firm that helps companies expand internationally, today announced it has been named the winner of a silver level Stevie Award in the Fastest Growing Company of the Year category in the 13th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Additionally, CEO Nicole Sahin was awarded a bronze level Stevie Award for her work successfully leading Globalization Partners through to tremendous growth since it was founded in 2012.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2016 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners on November 18 during a dinner event attended by more than 500 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event was broadcast on Livestream. More than 1,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year, among others. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 professionals worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
Over the past three years, Globalization Partners has achieved more than 16,196.5 percent revenue growth and expanded its global client base to include several Fortune 500 companies. Sahin has led the company to accomplish these milestones while maintaining a 100 percent client retention rate and expanding the company’s geographic reach to more than 150 countries. Globalization Partners has received incredible recognition in 2016 for these accomplishments. Most recently, the company was acknowledged by The Boston Globe Magazine as a Top 100 Women-led Business in Massachusetts. Prior to that, Globalization Partners was ranked number six on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S. It was the number one women-led business on the list.
"While I'm honored to be recognized within a category of strong, successful women leaders in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Category, I am especially proud of my team for the work they've done to make us one of the Stevie Awards Fastest Growing Companies of the Year," said Sahin. "We will remain committed to not only growing our organization to be the best in the industry, but also to reshape what it means to be a woman in business."
“Each year we think the quality of achievements portrayed in Stevie-winning nominations couldn’t possibly get any better, and each year the amazing women who are recognized in this program prove us wrong,” said Michael Gallagher, Stevie Awards founder and president. “We are thrilled and humbled to be able to recognize so many outstanding women in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and to share the stories of their achievement with the world.”
