Construction of Isosceles’ new, state-of-the art HQ in Egham begins
Egham, Surrey (PRWEB UK) 8 December 2016 -- It is with great anticipation and excitement that Isosceles announces that preparations for the construction of their new state-of-the art HQ have begun with the demolition of The Old Police Station. Ground breaking for the new building, which has been renamed ‘One High Street’, is scheduled to begin in February.
According to Mike O'Connell, CEO at Isosceles “We are starting the next exciting phase of our journey with a new Corporate HQ. The new office is a statement of our ambition and gives us an opportunity to support our team and clients with the very latest in technology, ergonomics, comfort and space planning.”
Isosceles have spent three very happy years in The Old Police Station but the building, which was built in 1937, has reached the end of its useful life.
They have worked closely with Runnymede Borough Council, Surrey Highways, the Environment Agency and of course their neighbours, to ensure the new building is in keeping with its prominent position at the eastern gateway to Egham town centre.
Their new office will provide their employees with a state-of-the-art workspace with a flexible layout designed to facilitate collaborative working. The use of technology will further enable their ability to work jointly with colleagues in their Sheffield and Cambridge offices and with client teams located throughout the world. The new building will use modern design and materials giving an energy efficient, sustainable office, significantly reducing carbon emissions. It provides the foundation stone for their next stage of growth and will further support businesses coming to London and the UK.
The building and the addition of green landscaping to the front will enhance the street scene and form part of the ongoing development strategy for the town of Egham. It signposts a modern and ambitious future for the town, and those who live and work there.
Isosceles have relocated to Knyvett House, Watermans Business Park, The Causeway, Staines, until construction is complete.
