Chileno Bay Resort & Residences Welcomes First Residents and Fast Tracks Phase Two of Development Following Strong Pre-Opening Sales
Los Cabos, Mexico (PRWEB) January 31, 2017 -- Chileno Bay Resort & Residences welcomed its first homeowners to the brand new beachfront property in December 2016, following a brisk year of sales with just a limited inventory of premiere residences remaining. Before opening day, 90 percent of phase one villas were sold or under contract, which has helped fast track phase two of development, set to begin ahead of schedule with a groundbreaking this spring.
Chileno Bay Resorts & Residences features a boutique luxury resort, managed by Auberge Resorts, that will open on February 1, 2017 with 29 guest rooms ranging from 760 to 885 square feet of interior and exterior space. Additionally, 33 expansive three- and four-bedroom contemporary beach villas range from 2,750 to 3,100 square feet of indoor living space. Various units offer outdoor showers, expansive terraces, and soaking tubs.
Phase two will introduce an additional 28 villas and 12 hotel rooms and suites, four of which are 1,000-square-foot one-bedroom suites. The new residences will allow buyers smaller options, with two-bedroom units starting from $1,495,000. Penthouses will start at $3,000,00. Phase two is slated to be complete in fall 2018.
“Following a very successful year of sales that significantly exceeded our expectations, we are thrilled to accelerate the plans and break ground on phase two in just a few months,” said Mark Cooley, Partner, SV Capital Partners, developers of the resort. “Since opening last month, we have been getting great feedback on the contemporary designed homes and families are enjoying Chileno Bay’s modern lifestyle and amenities – not to mention the beautiful, calm waters and sandy beach right at their doorstep.”
Following the December opening of the residences, Chileno Bay hosted a grand opening soiree on January 19th that welcomed more than 250 guests, owners and partners with a night of live music and entertainment, specialty food and drink stations and a grand finale firework show. Many visitors stayed through the weekend to enjoy the resort’s facilities, including paddleboarding and snorkeling over the pristine reefs and indulging in bites and bevs from signature restaurant Comal and the beachside eatery, TnT, serving up tacos and tequila.
