MDI Group to Hold 2nd Annual Techs Got Talent Networking Celebration
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 25, 2017 -- MDI Group, a national IT staffing and recruiting firm, has planned its 2nd annual Techs Got Talent networking event and appreciation party for May 4th, 2017. Taking place at Vinyl in Atlanta, the free event will feature a night of bands comprised of tech professionals, karaoke, stand-up comedy, and the opportunity to connect with industry peers and organizations.
“MDI Group is excited to bring Techs Got Talent back again in 2017,” said Ella Koscik, CEO and Owner of MDI Group. “We’re proud of this innovative and creative event that brings together Atlanta’s tech community.”
The event begins with networking at 6 p.m. followed by music starting at 7 p.m. Featured musical acts set to perform include Mad Mission, Tullamore Road, Walt Carter, and Joel McCreight & Evan’s Dilemma. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit this year’s charity partner, the KAPsi Foundation of Decatur, and its mission of providing scholarships to deserving high school students in South DeKalb County.
“It is with the utmost appreciation, gratitude, and excitement that KAPsi has partnered with MDI Group for this wonderful mutually-beneficial event,” commented Gerald T. Mosley, Chairman of the KAPsi Foundation. “To date, our organization has raised and awarded over $135,000 in scholarships to college-bound students, and we look forward to adding to that total through this year’s Techs Got Talent.”
Efforts to organize Techs Got Talent have been led by Jeff Clement, Managing Director of MDI Group Atlanta. In addition to determining the charity partner and reaching out to corporate sponsors CareerBuilder, The Benefit Company, Atlanta Backline Company, and Bullhorn, his responsibilities include booking the venue, selecting food, organizing the evening’s program of events, and everything in between.
“For me, planning this can’t-miss celebration is nearly as fun as attending the event itself,” shared Clement. “It’s genuinely rewarding to host such a fun night of great music and tech networking that also gives back to our local community. Given how well our first Techs Got Talent went, I know this year will be as great if not even better.”
Those interested in attending Techs Got Talent can register for the free event at the MDI Group website.
