PAINWeekEnd (PWE) on June 3 at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, 255 South West Temple, will be an educational and exciting full-day program providing busy clinicians and allied healthcare practitioners with 6.0 hours of relevant, practical instruction in the management of chronic pain.

“Great speaker, entertaining and good clinical anecdotes and pearls,” said an attendee of a recent PAINWeekEnd conference in reference to Dr. Doug Gourlay’s presentation Trainwreck: Addressing Complex Pharmacotherapy With the Inherited Pain Patient course. Dr. Gourlay will be presenting that and Cannabis vs Cannabinoids: The Politics of Medical Marijuana at PWE Salt Lake City. Other courses include (and are subject to change) Chronic Pain Assessment; The Gentle Art of Saying No: How to Establish Appropriate Boundaries With Chronic Pain Patients; How Does Acute Pain Become Chronic?; and Falling Down the Rabbit Hole: A Primer for Chronic Pain Management and Substance Abuse Disorders.

Commercially supported activities—addressing a range of product, disease state, and medical information topics—will also be presented.

Online registration fee for this PAINWeekEnd Conference: $129. PAINWeekEnd registrants may register for the PAINWeek National Conference, September 5-9, in Las Vegas, for $200 off the current online published price.
