Spanish Inspired Fitness Beer Sells out Turning to Crowd-Funding to Make next Batch
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 04, 2017 -- Robert Nathanson, the company's CEO said "Palmia is much more than a refreshing, 90 Calorie, naturally lemon-infused beer. On the coast of Spain, our dream was born, to bring a new choice to the light beer market. It's a lager that has great flavor. I bet that people are sick of watered down diet beer, and our first batch sold out!"
David Epstein & Robert Nathanson started the beer company after tasting a handmade beach drink the Spanish call CLARA. Their first batch sold through local restaurants and retailers.
"Palmia is perfection as far as taste, pairs perfectly with our tacos and our hand made guacamole. I can see this beer being one of our favorites here!" said Mike Barrow, managing partner at Tacolicious, one of the few restaurants chose to showcase new beer.
The company raised more than $50,000 in 48 hours on the crowdfunding website WeFunder.
It used its prior retail relationships with restaurants, bars and grocery stores in San Francisco to prove its investment worthiness. The company enjoys retail relationships with restaurants like Tacolicious, The Brixton, Blue Light, Mayes Oyster House, a vendor agreement with Target stores and letters of intent from BevMo!, United Markets, Real Food Co, and many more large box grocery and retailers.
