Gartner outlines top-level trends driving purchase decisions for enterprise agile planning tools including:

They state enterprise agile planning tools are increasingly important with the global diversification of development teams, to aid with the collaboration and coordination of work. 88% of tool users have distributed teams, according to the agile adoption and user survey associated with this Magic Quadrant. Gartner also finds that changing culture still is the largest challenge to agile adoption.
