Call for Start-ups: TU-Automotive Detroit 2017
(PRWEB) May 03, 2017 -- The event, now in its 17th year, is the longest running & largest gathering of automotive technology executives working on connected and autonomous car technologies. 3000 attendees come from over 30 countries to network, learn, and scout new solutions.
This year, the organizers have introduced rates for early stage start-ups to attend the conference and have a stand in the exhibition hall to encourage more innovation and new entrants to the industry.
Annie Reddaway, project director for TU-Automotive Detroit, stated “This industry is seeing unprecedented innovation and a lot of this is coming from new companies just starting out. This event has been the hub of the connected car industry for 17 years and we want to continue to help the industry grow.”
She continued: “We are also excited to continue partnering with organizations including Techstars Mobility and Fontinalis Partners to highlight the work being doing in Detroit to foster start-ups, as well as working with Autotech Council to ensure there is a US-wide representation of the most innovative companies.”

NB. These options are only available to early stage start-ups meeting the following criteria and will need to be approved by TU-Automotive:
• Under 3 years old
• Pre-revenue
• Fewer than 10 employees
• Self-funded or under $5 million funding
