RealTimeRental, a leading cloud based vacation rental software company, announced today a suite of new tech features and upgrades to the software designed to help vacation rental companies interact with their rental guests.

One of the new features announced by RealTimeRental was an Automated Email system. Designed to save the property manager time, the system automatically generates emails to rental guests or owners based upon an action in the software. Tasks such as notifying a property owner when a booking is created on their rental property or sending a payment reminder to rental guests when their final payment is due can be scheduled and automated.

“The automated email system has been really well received by RTR clients so far. Our vacation rental managers enjoy having the ability to automate daily tasks and free up more time for their staff to work on different projects,” said Sherry Tomasso, Co-Founder of RealTimeRental.

The automated emails are completely customized and are sent out from the client’s company email server. RealTimeRental clients are also using the automated emails to send out welcome letters to rental guests before check-in, instructions on the check-out procedure before they leave the rental home, and post check-out messages urging the tenants to rebook the same rental property again next year.

Another new feature announced by RealTimeRental was the Tenant Portal.

Every time a booking is created in RTR, a tenant portal account is created for the rental guest. Rental guests can view their lease and property information such as photos, description, amenities, and more. In addition to current bookings, rental guests can view past bookings and rental properties, and update their contact information. Rental guests can even make payments through the Tenant Portal via RealTimeRental’s integrated partners.

RealTimeRental also announced upgrades to their mobile app. The IOS app is designed for vacation rental companies to display their rental inventory to potential guests. The app allows users to browse through rental properties, view rates and availability, look at photos and amenities, and contact the office to secure the booking. The app features a GPS mapping feature that will show the user properties available for rent in the area. All information on the app is pulled directly from the RealTimeRental software, so no need for property managers to update information or availability in two places.
