Zillow, Realogy and National Association of Realtors Executives Receive 2016 T3 Visionary Award
San Juan Capistrano, CA (PRWEB) May 09, 2017 -- The CEOs of the Zillow Group, Realogy Franchise Group and National Association of Realtors received the first annual T3 Visionary Award from the Swanepoel T3 Group. They were recognized for their significant impact to the residential real estate industry.
In presenting the awards Stefan Swanepoel, New York Times best-selling author, Chairman and CEO of the Swanepoel T3 Group, said they were chosen in recognition of going far beyond what was expected, making a major impact on their organization and shaping an entire industry. The award ceremony was held on Friday, May 5 at the T3 Summit at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California.
The three visionary executives are:
Dale Stinton, CEO of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). After serving for 24 years in various executive positions at NAR, including chief financial officer, Stinton has been CEO for 12 years, making him the longest-tenured chief executive in NAR’s 109-year history. Stinton is slated to retire at the end of this year. Swanepoel said, "Stinton will forever be remembered as the executive that introduced a business-minded approach to the nonprofit world of NAR."
Alex Perriello, CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group. Over his 38-year career, Perriello rose from real estate agent to become the most senior executive in the Realogy Franchise Group, the largest real estate group in the world. "This placed Perriello at the head of more real estate brands - Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, ERA and Sotheby’s International Realty - than any other person," said Swanepoel. Perriello stepped down on April 1 and was succeeded by John Peyton.
Spencer Rascoff, CEO of Zillow Group. Rascoff (41) oversees the company’s portfolio of real estate and home-related brands, including consumer brands Zillow, Trulia, StreetEasy, HotPads and Naked Apartments. Spencer helped launch Zillow in 2005 and became CEO in 2010. Since then, Rascoff has led Zillow through 13 acquisitions and its 2011 IPO. "Rascoff has led Zillow Group to become one of the most formidable real estate brands in the nation," Swanepoel said. Rascoff also earned the #1 position on the 2017 SP200 (http://www.sp200.com), the annual ranking of the most powerful people in residential real estate. He was the first person not from the brokerage or franchise real estate ranks to do so.
At the T3 Summit, a think tank for 300 real estate CEOs and other C-suite leaders, Swanepoel said, "These three exceptional leaders have changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Realtors, and the residential real estate industry salutes you!"
