Accent’s plugin provides a number of time saving capabilities. For content access, the plugin lets sales reps locate sales and marketing materials from their Accent content library, share with buyers, and track viewing history directly from Outlook. The Accent plugin also lets reps create custom presentations—adding slides from various presentations, right from Outlook.
The buyer activity tracking feature is a very popular capability in Accent’s Web and mobile applications, and drove the decision to provide the same capability right from within Outlook. The tracking capabilities let reps immediately see which buyers are viewing materials shared, allowing for faster follow-up and assistance. All content sharing activity is recorded in the prospect’s CRM record(s). Messages and collateral that are commonly used together can also be saved as templates.
The Accent plugin also helps sales reps in other ways. It connects directly with CRM, allowing users to access opportunities and contacts right within Outlook. It also automatically inserts any emails sent to CRM contacts into CRM, saving reps from time consuming manual entry. Reps can also create opportunities and even backfill emails into CRM by right clicking and selecting “Save to CRM.” The plugin intelligently sorts through your Inbox or Sent folder and adds emails to the appropriate opportunity and contact in the CRM.
