The Senior Move Partnership celebrates National Senior Move Managers Week helping the older generation to downsize and move home
England, Scotland and Wales (PRWEB UK) 11 May 2017 -- The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) has declared May 14-20, 2017 National Senior Move Managers Week. During this recognition week, NASMM and NASMM members here in the UK and around the world are promoting the value of Senior Move Management and Senior Move Managers’ commitment to assisting older people and their families with transitions in later life.
Senior Move Managers help older people and their families with the entire process of moving to a new home as well as downsizing to remain in their current home. Senior Move Managers specialise in helping their clients with the emotional and physical aspects of sorting through a lifetime of memories in the transition process, while providing them with effective options, planning and resources to ensure the move takes place with minimum stress. The theme of this year’s celebration, “A Circle of Experts,” underscores the unique skills and professionalism Senior Move Managers offer their clients and families throughout the downsizing, relocation or ageing in place process.
“For older people who have lived in their homes for 30 or 40 years, or even longer, it’s more than just a move.
