CCEI Announces New Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) School-Age Certificate
Duluth, GA (PRWEB) May 12, 2017 -- ChildCare Education Institute® (CCEI), an online child care training provider dedicated exclusively to the early care and education workforce, announces a new Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) School-Age Certificate. To celebrate this new certificate release, CCEI is offering enrolling students $100 OFF the program of study now through May 31, 2017.
The CCEI Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) School-Age Certificate program of study has been approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and is designed to provide the 120 clock hours of professional development required to obtain the Florida School-Age Staff Credential. The program includes Instructional Units that focus on child development and the six (6) FCCPC School-Age Content Areas.
The program is comprised of online coursework, textbook reading, essays, observations, portfolio creation, quizzes and exams, and documentation requirements. Each student enrolled in the program is assigned an Education Coach (EC), who has previous experience working in a child care center or school and is knowledgeable of Florida School-Age Child Care Regulations, National School-Age Care Alliance (NSACA) Standards and policies for school-age services. Upon successful completion of the CCEI FCCPC School-Age program requirements, student information will be submitted to the Florida Department of Children and Families for issuance of the School-Age Staff Credential. Graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic principles of child growth and development, know how to establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, have knowledge of the advancement of physical and intellectual competence of school-age children, and much more. This program grants 12.0 IACET CEUs upon successful completion.
