Author Stephen Arthur Nystrom’s Newly Released “Mechanics of Ballroom Dancing” is a Simplified and Straightforward Guide to Ballroom Dancing
(PRWEB) May 17, 2017 -- “Mechanics of Ballroom Dancing”: a simplified and straightforward guide to learning ballroom dancing. “Mechanics of Ballroom Dancing” is the creation of published author, Stephen Arthur Nystrom, a dance instructor who taught for nearly 15 years at a national dance studio and independently. Stephen Arthur Nystrom was born in 1954 on a dairy farm in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. At the age of eighteen, he enrolled in the University of Massachusetts where he took his first dance class. He continued to take dance classes, which focused on tap, jazz, and some ballet with an emphasis on ballroom dance. While developing his dance skills, he worked many different jobs at many different businesses, which included a fast-food restaurant, a bookbinding company, a gas station/garage, a foundry, and the military.
“[“Mechanics of Ballroom Dancing”]…has been written in an effort to raise awareness of good ballroom dancing. It is open to interpretation and vulnerable to criticism as well as other dancers’ opinions. Keep in mind, every ballroom-dance organization has dissenters in their organization about how things should be done. This, in part, is what creates different styles of dance. The end result is improved dancing knowledge for all concerned. Always keep one thing in mind: If what you are doing hurts, stop doing it. Dancing correctly will not hurt.” --Stephen Arthur Nystrom
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Stephen Arthur Nystrom’s new book takes the mystery out of ballroom dancing.
“Mechanics of Ballroom Dancing” was written for anyone interested in taking the difficulty out of ballroom dancing. In addition, exercises are provided to help improve connection, body movement, and self-control. The book also discusses the qualities students should look for when choosing their instructors, which include excellent dance knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm, and so on. Finally, “Mechanics of Ballroom Dancing” attempts to answer critical questions that all dancer should ask.
