Maggie Seidel Named AIA Vice President for Public Affairs
WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) May 15, 2017 -- The American Insurance Association (AIA) is pleased to announce that Maggie Seidel will assume the position of vice president for public affairs, effective today, May 15, 2017. Seidel has nearly a decade of policy and communications experience in both the private and public sectors. In her role as vice president for public affairs, Seidel will lead AIA’s media relations and grassroots advocacy operations.

Prior to joining AIA, Seidel was a senior public relations & media strategist for the Charles Koch Institute. She previously served as assistant vice president of media relations and communications for the Consumer Bankers Association and communications director for Representative Scott Garrett (R-NJ). Seidel earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from George Mason University, a Master’s Degree in Elections & Campaign Management from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Villanova University.
