Stratford School Announces New Campus in Fremont
Saratoga, Calif. (PRWEB) May 16, 2017 -- Leaders from Stratford School announced a new state-of-the-art school is in development in Fremont and will be ready to welcome preschool through 8th grade students beginning in the 2018-2019 school year.
The new 57,000 square-foot Fremont Osgood campus will be developed at 43055 Osgood Road, centrally located in Fremont. It is the first facility for Stratford that will be built from the ground up. The new school will feature Title 24-compliant energy efficiencies, technology enriched classrooms, a library, and music rooms. The new campus will lead the technology way with dedicated computer, science, and engineering labs that include resources to help advance Stratford’s well-established STEAM education initiatives. The new play and sports facilities will help Stratford foster athletic skills and abilities throughout the preschool to middle school years and provide the ability to host a competitive middle school sports league. Rounding out the facility will be a multi-purpose room with fully equipped sound and lighting capability, and well-tuned acoustics that will provide a high-tech performance space for music, drama, and assemblies.
Stratford School, a leading private school based in Silicon Valley and founded in 1999, has been nationally recognized for its innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum, which integrates performing arts, foreign language, and character development. The new Fremont Osgood campus will be among 23 Stratford campuses located throughout California.
“Our emphasis on a balanced and robust STEAM curriculum makes this cutting-edge facility a fantastic fit with our mission,” said Sherry Adams, Stratford School Founder. “We focus on providing the best possible environment for Stratford students to learn, grow, and excel in a place where all things are possible. This leading-edge campus is designed especially for our students to collaborate, communicate, and explore their creativity and problem-solving skills in refreshing and innovative ways.”
Sanny Figeuroa and Ellie Tariverdi, Principals of Stratford’s Fremont Curtis campus and future leaders at the new Fremont Osgood campus agree: “We are thrilled to take this journey with our families,” said Tariverdi. “After 13 years in Fremont, the opportunity to offer more families Stratford’s exceptional education in a landmark facility that is enriched with everything designed for and in support of a high quality experience for children is truly remarkable.”
