L.L.Bean Once Again Named by Forbes Magazine as One of America’s Best Midsize Employers for 2017
Freeport, ME (PRWEB) May 17, 2017 -- Internationally recognized outdoor retailer L.L.Bean, best known for its Bean Boot, and legendary customer service was recently named by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Best Midsize employers for 2017. Each year, Forbes compiles a list of which U.S. companies are the best at making employees feel happy and inspired. This is the third time in a row L.L.Bean has made the Forbes list. In 2015, they were ranked as one of America’s Best Employers at #5, and in 2016, they topped the list of America’s Best Midsize Employers at #1.
America’s Best Midsize Employers in the U.S. 2017 were chosen based on a survey conducted by Statista, one of the world’s largest statistics portals, from a vast sample of 30,000 American employees working for large or midsize companies with between 1,000 and 5,000 employees. The willingness to recommend one’s own employer was used as the most important metric of assessment, where employees were required to rate their employer on a scale from 0 to 10. Other factors included workforce diversity, compensation, opportunities for advancement and more.
