Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 18, 2017
It is with sadness and gratitude that the Board of Directors announces Paul Schmidt’s departure as Executive Director of Green Spa Network, effective June 2, 2017. During his three-year tenure, Paul provided our organization with dedicated service which involved many significant accomplishments, including:
- Growing the network to over 1400 members
- Bringing the Sustainability Assessment Tool (SAT) to market
- Producing 6 industry events
“It has truly been an honor to serve the greater spa and wellness community through my work with GSN,” says Paul. “I’ve been humbled by the opportunity to steward GSN’s incredible vision of vital people, vital planet. Thank you for supporting the heart in our spa community and having the courage to stand for a future we can all live with.”
Green Spa Network is searching to identify a new Executive Director. In the interim, our immediate point of contact is Kate Sornson, Membership Coordinator. Kate will maintain engagement with our core community of spa and wellness leaders. We cannot thank Paul enough for the dedication, passion, enthusiasm, and motivation he has given to Green Spa Network over the past 3 years. He will be greatly missed by the staff, board, sponsors, and members. We look forward to following the continued success of his career and his ongoing involvement with GSN. The next chapter of GSN will be stronger for his contributions.
