The Modular Home Builders Association’s May Modular Home of the Month Winner is a Modern Beach Bungalow
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 20, 2017 -- The Modular Home Builders Association’s (MHBA) May 2017 Modular Home of the Month is Three on Abbott.
After spending years of consulting on notable, award winning modular housing projects, R&S Tavares Associates, has built two-story, modern prefab beach bungalows in Ocean Beach, San Diego.
This development was created under firm constraints set by local zoning officials. However, the three units are not constrained in their design. At 840 square feet, each home features 13-foot ceilings that create an open-air feel throughout the home. The thoughtful floor plan utilizes the space to perfection with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The open floor plan paired with the loft-style bedrooms create a spacious, comfortable home.
Each home features a large roof deck with panoramic views of the water. Guests are immediately impressed upon arrival by a Portuguese cobblestone driveway. The cobblestone was imported from Porto, Portugal and installed by three Portuguese master masons to create the Copacabana Boardwalk pattern.
The Modular Home of the Month showcase is an opportunity for MHBA member companies to display their projects to architects, engineers, contractors, developers, owners, students, and more. MHBA selects one home each month to be featured on social media and our website.
