Site Selectors Guild Fall Forum Conference Coming to Seattle in September
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) May 23, 2017 -- The Site Selectors Guild (SSG), the only association of the world’s leading corporate location advisors, announced today that the group’s 2017 Fall Forum will be held in Seattle, WA from September 25-27, 2017. This conference will bring economic developers and site selection consultants from around the globe to the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
“Seattle is an exciting destination for our 2017 Fall Forum,” said David Zaharchuk, SSG Fall Forum Committee Chair. “We look forward to making this a memorable conference for Guild members and economic developers with our partner the Washington State Department of Commerce.”
The Washington State Department of Commerce is the host for the 2017 Fall Forum. This is the first time a Site Selectors Guild event is being held in Washington state.
“We are delighted to host the SSG Fall Forum in our beautiful state, the birthplace of such business legends as Boeing, Costco, Microsoft, Nordstrom and Starbucks, to name a few,” said Allison Clark, managing director for business development at the Washington State Department of Commerce. “I’m confident that 2017 forum participants will see why Washington had the fasting growing economy in America last year; We’re open for business and looking forward to seeing everyone in Seattle.”
The cornerstone of the Fall Forum is knowledge sharing and an interactive exchange of ideas through discussion panels, breakout sessions and networking. Registration is limited to 175 economic development professionals and 23 Site Selectors Guild Members will attend the event.
Professional site selectors often serve as a barometer for the overall economy – when companies are growing and expanding, they turn to site selectors for location advisory assistance. If projects slow down or stop coming in to site selectors, it is an early indicator that business may be headed for a downturn.
