Acer’s Nidhi Nayyar Tassone and Sonia Vasudeva Recognized in CRN’s 2017 Women of the Channel
SAN JOSE, Calif. (PRWEB) May 22, 2017 -- Acer America announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Nidhi Nayyar Tassone, marketing manager and Sonia Vasudeva, channel marketing manager to its prestigious 2017 Women of the Channel list. The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.
CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
Nayyar Tassone manages commercial marketing and is responsible the development, management and execution of marketing programs and promotions for the K-12 education vertical and for Acer's DMR and reseller channel partners. Acer is the Chromebook market share leader as a consequence of multiple channel wide K-12 marketing initiatives and aggressive reseller programs, which were executed by Nayyar Tassone. These initiatives include the Chromebook Seed Program, the education webinar series and the Acer Education Advisory Council, which aims to connect educators and foster collaboration leading to increased brand awareness.
Vasudeva is responsible for the development, management and execution of marketing programs and promotions for Acer's distribution and reseller channel partners. In the past year, she has focused on growing Acer’s reseller programs including Acer Channel Excellence (ACE), which offers a comprehensive incentive program based on the sales of professional OS products, as well as Acer Rewards, a customer loyalty program offering incentives via reloadable prepaid debit cards based upon the sales of selected Acer products. Her efforts helped Acer Chromebook revenue grow 17 percent year-on-year in the U.S. by partnering with resellers selling into the K-12 education market.
“These extraordinary executives support every aspect of the channel ecosystem, from technical innovation to marketing to business development, working tirelessly to keep the channel moving into the future,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company “They are creating and elevating channel partner programs, developing fresh go-to-market strategies, strengthening the channel’s network of partnerships and building creative new IT solutions, among many other contributions. We congratulate all the 2017 Women of the Channel on their stellar accomplishments and look forward to their future success.”
