Snoqualmie Ice Cream Kicks Off Ice Cream Season with 10 New Flavors
Snohomish, Washington (PRWEB) May 23, 2017 -- July is National Ice Cream Month, and Snoqualmie Ice Cream is celebrating with their 2017 lineup of 10 new super-premium ice cream flavors, 7 of which are UDSA Organic-certified from the Pacific Northwest.
Snoqualmie Ice Cream and Snoqualmie Organic Ice Cream are both vat-pasteurized, slow cooked, and crafted in small batches with extra cream and very little air, resulting in the creamiest ice cream on the market. Many of Snoqualmie Organic Ice Cream’s ingredients are sourced locally from neighboring Pacific Northwest farmers and businesses, including Jacobsen Salt Co., and USDA Organic-certified grass-fed milk and cream, organic eggs, organic berries from Oregon, and organic cane sugar.
Snoqualmie Ice Cream received B-Corporation certification earlier this year for its social sustainability and environmental performance standards. The family-owned company’s eco-conscious property and manufacturing facilities include onsite rain gardens, bio swales, pervious concrete, solar panels, energy efficient equipment, LED sensor lighting, and more, in order to reduce its carbon footprint while making the highest quality super-premium craft ice cream. They are the first ice cream business to become a B-Corp in the Pacific Northwest.
“Our mission to make everything as perfect as possible for our customers is something we take very seriously,” said Barry Bettinger, owner and founder of Snoqualmie Ice Cream. “I feel like with these new flavors, especially with our new organic line extension, we really held up to our promise.”
