Webb Sickle Service Rebrands to Webb Cutting Components
Grand Island, Nebr. (PRWEB) May 30, 2017 -- Originally established in 1991 as a manufacturer of quality sickles, Webb Sickle Service has changed their name and branding to Webb Cutting Components to better reflect their expanding reach and growing product lines and capabilities.
“Over the years, we became a leading manufacturer of high carbon sickle sections, sickle assemblies, and related high-wear components,” reports John Webb, founder and owner of Webb Cutting Components. “We now manufacture over 2,500 unique replacement parts for nearly every brand of ag equipment used for farm, ranch, commercial and acreage mowing and harvest applications.”
While sickles are still a strong part of the company’s business, the expansive product line includes knifeheads, knife clips, wear plates, guards, rake wheels, replacement parts for rotary disc mowers and more.
“We have a deep understanding of how the parts we manufacture are used, and the importance of delivering them in a timely manner during key harvest seasons,” says Webb. “In other words, no matter how you slice it, we have the cutting components an ag operation needs– when they need them!”
Parts manufactured by Webb Cutting Components are used for equipment that cuts wheat, alfalfa, soybeans and grasses. All knives are American made from quality US steel.
The company sells direct to consumers, but also serves many short-run/short-line manufacturers, and is not held to contractual obligations like other parts vendors, allowing them to produce exceptional quality parts– no matter the order size.
