Teacher Created Materials Brings Home the Prestigious Golden Lamp Award
Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) May 26, 2017 -- Educational publisher, Teacher Created Materials, was honored to recently receive two awards, including the prestigious Golden Lamp Award at the Association of American Publishers’ (AAP) special awards event in Philadelphia.
The Golden Lamp was awarded to Shell Education, a division of Teacher Created Materials, for Analyzing and Writing with Primary Sources, in the Professional Resources Instruction and Classroom Practice category. Part of Shell Education’s line of professional and classroom resources, this unique resource provides high-interest, engaging primary sources that bring history to life for students and help develop their close reading and writing skills. With easy-to-implement lesson plans for teachers, it is easy to see why this resource stood out among the other finalists. Being “very teacher friendly” is a long-standing goal of Teacher Created Materials and Shell Education, and gave this product an advantage.
“Each year the Revere Awards seek out the best in educational resources. Receiving the Golden Lamp Award reaffirms our commitment to developing the best resources possible---products that really work and are easy to use. Being teachers ourselves, we know the importance of success in the classroom and strive to continuously improve,” says Rachelle Cracchiolo, Chief Executive Officer.
In addition to the Golden Lamp Award, Teacher Created Materials was honored with a Revere Award for TIME® Nonfiction Readers, a supplemental curriculum series designed to support focused reading instruction through complex and engaging informational text.
