Working Wardrobes (http://www.workingwardrobes.org), a nonprofit that helps people overcoming difficult challenges find meaningful employment, today announced that it is the sole recipient of this year’s generous grant from Center Club Cares, the philanthropic arm of Center Club in Costa Mesa, California. Center Club is the premier members-only private business and social club in Orange County that is deeply committed to business and career development, networking, and personal and professional fulfillment.
Working Wardrobes provides a full suite of career development, job placement, and professional wardrobe services to thousands of clients each year to help them find jobs. Center Club Cares empowers citizens of Orange County through community and workforce development and has created a grant to help local citizens get access to various forms of education and workforce training. Each year, Center Club Cares determines which nonprofits will receive the grant, and this year, Working Wardrobes is the sole recipient of this grant.
“Our commitment to workforce development falls very much in line with Working Wardrobes and the full suite of services it offers men, women, young adults, and veterans in search of meaningful employment and self-sufficiency,” said Shahin Vosough, General Manager of Center Club Orange County. “As the sole recipient of the 2017 Center Club Cares Donor Advised Fund, Working Wardrobes can maximize this grant to expand its services and its client base. Doing more and helping more people is really the purpose of this grant, and we’re pleased to offer it to such a deserving organization.”
Each year, ClubCorp holds fundraising events to raise money for nonprofits, including each member club’s charity of choice. Center Club is hosting the Orange County Hops & Vines Charity Classic on September 28, 2017 at its gorgeous, newly renovated facility in Costa Mesa.
