“It would take courage, creativity and conviction to pursue the path that ultimately led them to the marriage altar, but their belief in God and unconditional trust of each other resulted in a life of joy, music making and companionship, beautiful memories, and the discovery of a soul mate who could say what the other was thinking, and believe in what the other was saying.” --Ed Clark
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Ed Clark’s new book is an intimate account featuring the journey of two people whose lives collided due to an amazing coincidence that sparked an enduring love
In the summer of 1971, one amazing coincidence started a casual friendship that would spark an enduring love and commitment. The extraordinary letters exchanged between Tobi and Eddie during a brief period of two months revealed a persistent faith as they reached out to one another across a distance of 1,500 miles, steadfastly relying on God's guidance to cultivate their relationship. It would take courage, creativity, and conviction to pursue the path that would ultimately lead them to the marriage altar. Their belief in God and unconditional trust in each other would, however, result in a life of joy, music making, and companionship.
The letters, which cultivated their love, are presented here exactly as they were written by the two souls as they exchanged treasures of romantic verse and scriptural truths, revealed details of their daily lives, and shared their own very personal expressions of romantic devotion. This is a narrative of compassion and hope, obsession and longing, fear and tears. It is a love story of opportunities seized upon and divine providence. Simply put, it is the story of a miracle.
