Michael Danhieux’s New Book “Ship Dog: First Contact With The Thann” Is A Brilliant Science Fiction Adventure, Told From The Point Of View Of A Very Precocious Chihuahua
(PRWEB) August 02, 2017 -- Michael Danhieux, a science fiction aficienatio and gifted author, has completed his new book “Ship Dog: First Contact with the Thann”: a delightful and engaging story of a young pup and his devoted master as they explore the final frontier.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Michael Danhieux’s absolutely delightful tale is told from the point of view of a particularly spunky little dog named Teddy, who just happens to live on a spaceship. His master’s name is Jim Roberts, the owner/operator of the earth spaceship Wanderlust, basically a very long-haul trucker. Jim delivers cargo to various settlements and colonies in human space. Jim and Teddy have been together for almost 3 years now, for the most part he is a very good master. Sometimes is he a bit slow on the uptake but Teddy realizes that he must make considerations for their species.
On one particular trip, Teddy and his master are taking vital machine parts to the new settlement on the metal rich world of Green Nevada. A dismal and smelly place which makes poor Teddy’s body feel too heavy when they are on the planet. But Jimmy boy has a contract to fulfill and so Teddy must endure as his species has always done. This trip to Green Nevada they are taking a different route than the two previous times they had been there. Only engaging the interdimensional drive engine, three times instead of four. The route is shorter but it’s also a new and unexplored area of the cosmos.
What they blunder into when the dimensional drive is turned off and they re-enter normal space is both frightening and awe inspiring to Jim and will rock humanity to its very core, it’s a good thing Teddy is along to help keep him grounded, otherwise who knows what would’ve happened…
