FCPX Overlay Paint Strokes includes a set of 12 realistic brush stroke animations that can overlaid and animated above footage endlessly. Each paint stroke is designed to be one of a kind so that users have access to a wide variety of looks when editing in Final Cut Pro X. Choose from paint strokes that contain streaks and speckles, or opt for an unbroken brush stroke by selecting one of the many provided styles.
Each paint stroke preset comes in two possible varieties: straight or curved. Straight brush presets can be scaled up more by comparison, but the curved strokes have an additional set of controls. Users are provided with an on-screen control that allows control over the source of the curving point. Additionally, editors can adjust this using the Curve Point, Radius, and Angle controls in the Inspector window.
Users are given a variety of controls so that they may alter presets to their liking. The size of paint strokes can be manipulated with Overall Size, Height and Randomization sliders. Then, users can control the source radius, angle and amount of time brush strokes stay on-screen for using additional controls. The Speed control lets users adjust the time between each new layer. Finally, users can easily create new arrangements by clicking the Generate Layout button.
To start editing an FCPX Overlay Paint Strokes preset, first choose a blend mode for it to react with the underlying footage. Next, select colors by manipulating and adding new hues in the color range. After basic stylization is complete users have access to a bevy of additional controls such as Threshold, Noise, Edges and Drop Shadow. Pixel Film Studios makes stylizing easy with FCPX Overlay Paint Strokes.
